Get Involved with the Spokane Regional CoC

Interested organizations and individuals can join the CoC by attending a regularly scheduled meeting, requesting to be added to the stakeholder roster, and committing to participate in the work of the CoC to achieve stated purposes and goals.

Ways to participate:

  • Attend the semi-annual meetings.
  • Participate in committee or sub-committee work.
  • Help with outreach to the community.
  • Serve as a liaison between the CoC and other community groups.

Become a Board Member

The Spokane Regional Continuum of Care (CoC) is looking for new board members.

Are you looking for an opportunity to contribute to our community's work in providing temporary housing, permanent housing, and supportive services to the citizens of Spokane County? The mission of the community-based Spokane Regional Continuum of Care (CoC) is to make homelessness rare, brief, and non-reoccurring in our area by fostering shared responsibility among stakeholders and coordinating resources essential to the success of local plans to end homelessness.

CoC Board members are responsible for approving and implementing the CoC's Plan to End Homelessness, and in providing leadership, oversight, and accountability for U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Continuum of Care projects in Spokane County. Time commitments for this important work range between 5-10 hours a month of attending meetings, serving on subcommittees, and researching issues our community faces in addressing housing needs. Selected Board members serve for five-year terms.

The 2023 CoC Board needs 1- board member representing each of the following:

  • Education (K-12)
  • Behavioral Health & Chemical Dependency
  • Family Representative – PLE
  • Provider, Supportive Services
  • Healthcare Provider/Hospital
  • Philanthropy
