Fireworks Press Briefing

5:34 p.m. - There will be a press briefing at 10 am on July 1 outside the Fire Training Center at 1618 N. Rebecca regarding the 22nd year of the fireworks ban.

House fire in East Central

6:32 a.m. - The Spokane Fire Department responded to a house fire in the 2500 block of E. 3rd early Saturday morning at 3:21 a.m.

Smoke detector installation program

2:48 p.m. - The Fire Department has a limited number of smoke detectors to install free of charge for low-income persons living inside the city limits of Spokane.
