Spokane Mayor David Condon will announce his appointment to be Spokane’s next fire chief tomorrow at 11:15 am at First Station 1. Five finalists for the position interviewed with three community panels and during a public forum earlier this month. A selection committee of community and city leaders chose the finalists from a list of 17 candidates that submitted supplemental application materials during a second round of screening. The city received 28 total applications.
