The City of Spokane and its community partners host the Fiesta Spokane 5k and Heritage Festival this Saturday, September 19. Both events take place at Riverfront Park and are open to the public.
Fiesta Spokane celebrates the contributions, history, culture, and experiences of Hispanic and Latino-Americans in Spokane. Fiesta Spokane is part of a series of multicultural celebrations presented by the City including, but not limited to, Native American, African American, and Asian American heritage months.
“Fiesta Spokane and our other heritage month observances are such a wonderful thing to have in this community,” said Mayor David Condon. “This weekend’s events give our entire community a way to celebrate the incredible Hispanic heritage in Spokane, and to recognize the contributions and experiences of Latino-Americans here and across the country.”
Signature Fiesta Spokane Events on Saturday, Sept. 19:
Fiesta Spokane is presented in partnership with the City of Spokane and the Latino Hope Foundation, and made possible thanks to the sponsorship of PAML, Kalispel Tribe of Indians and Northern Quest Resort and Casino, Inland Imaging, Downtown Spokane Partnership, Planned Parenthood, Larry H.
