On-street parking meters and kiosks will not require payment on Monday, Nov. 11, because of the Veterans Day holiday. However, please remember even when parking is free on holidays, all parking rules, including time limits, still apply.

Solid Waste Services will proceed on its regular schedule and the City’s Waste to Energy Facility will be open. Development Service Center employees will be available. My Spokane 311 employees will be available for in-person, phone, or online customer service inquiries. The public can go to www.spokane311.org 24 hours a day to submit a request.

The Spokane City Council briefing session and legislative meeting will be held on their regular schedule, Monday, Nov. 11, at 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. Meetings are shown live on CityCable 5, Facebook, and the web at spokanecity.org.

On Veterans Day, Riverfront Park is offering complimentary Looff Carrousel rides for all military members, both active and retired, along with their families.

Spokane Public Library branches will be closed on Veterans Day. The Spokane Municipal Court and Community Justice Services will be closed.
