Spokane Mayor David Condon has released the following statement following this morning’s fatal accident near South Geiger Boulevard and South Lewis Street involving a City Wastewater Management vehicle:
"We were very saddened to learn that the woman involved in an accident with a City vehicle today has passed away. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the woman’s family and friends during this time.”
The City’s Wastewater crews were at this location to perform construction work to help alleviate a localized flooding issue.
