Spokane Mayor David Condon issued the following statement about a Spokane medical school:
“This is a big day for future Spokane medical students. Spokane is fortunate to count access to quality higher education as one of its strengths, and expanding health care education makes Spokane stronger, smarter and healthier. A lot of people have worked very hard to get us to this point. Sen. Baumgartner and Rep. Riccelli have been great leaders in advocating on their behalf to give more students a chance to receive a medical education in Spokane.”
