Garbage and curbside recycling pickup will be a day late starting Wednesday, with Friday’s pickup occurring on Saturday due to the New Year’s Day holiday. Christmas Tree pickup will also start this week. Please have your carts and trees out at the point of collection by 6 AM on your collection day. Spokane Mayor David Condon and other community leaders hosted LabCorp CEO Dave King in a community visit today. Mayor Condon and Mr. King issued a joint statement about that visit.

“We spent time getting to know each other and talking about Spokane’s unique urban advantages, collection of educational resources, community infrastructure, and, of course, its impressive healthcare sector, which includes two medical schools and four medical centers. It was an opportunity to introduce Spokane to LabCorp and LabCorp to Spokane. Spokane is a great community with a lot to offer and we look forward to continuing our work together.”
