Mayor Nadine Woodward issued the following statement about the fires burning in Medical Lake and Elk:
“The fires burning around the region are frightening and devastating. Our thoughts and support are with those who have been displaced, the firefighters and first responders from across our region who are battling the fires, and everyone who is helping however they can. We are all one big community, and we will get through it together.”
