It's time to re-engage the community in the discussion we've been having about what's next for Spokane. The next installment in our ongoing series of community conversations is happening this month.

For the past three years, the Telephone Town Hall has been one of the ways we keep the public informed and – most importantly – gather their input on how we're doing. Last summer, we talked to more than 10,000 people on the phone and another 15,000 people via social media. The goal is to make it easy for people to join the conversation when and where it's most convenient to them.

We will host our next community conversation on Tuesday, June 9 from 6 to 7 p.m. Once again, we are also inviting those who prefer to participate in person to come to the City Council Chambers at City Hall on June 9 to join the discussion live. People can participate in the community conversation on social media @spokanecity on Twitter and Facebook as well. The entire evening will be broadcast live on CityCable 5 and streamed here on SpokaneCity.org.

Calls will go out to tens of thousands of people on June 9 asking if they would like to participate in the community discussion. People can also opt in by calling 855.312.2107 between 6 and 6:45 p.m.
