With Hoopfest around the corner (June 25 & 26) here is a quick reminder about parking during special events. In preparation for the biggest three on three basketball tournament in the world more meter bags will be appearing throughout the city. These meter bags are used to create no parking zones necessary for road closures. Yellow meter bags have the time and date after which the parking space becomes a no parking and tow away zone. Please remove your car before the time listed on the meter bags or risk getting towed
You will also notice red meter bags, these are Police Department bags. You cannot park in these spots at any time; they indicate an active tow away zone.
If your vehicle is towed you will be responsible for paying all towing and storage costs incurred. Contact Crime Check at 509.456.2233 if you think your vehicle has been towed.
