Back in March, the Spokane City Council along with a group of experts and volunteers released a survey to better understand citizens' concerns around local climate change impacts. Over 1,400 responses to the survey were gathered and a summary is now available.
The Sustainability Action Subcommittee, or SAS, intends to use the data from the survey to build content for further interactive community involvement and for developing Spokane’s Sustainability and Climate Action Plan.
If you took the survey, thank you for making your voice heard! When it comes to climate challenges, as City Council President Breean Beggs says, “We can only move forward if we listen to everybody."
