You empower your community when you get counted for the 2020 Census! Census population data determines our share of $13.7 billion in federal dollars, the number of seats we have in Congress, and many essential services.
Washington State has already reached the final self-response for 2010! We are the second state to reach this important milestone. Over 67% of Washington State households have answered the census and over 71% of Spokane households. Spokane has the best response rate of the ten largest cities in our state. We know it is important for our schools, public health, and building roads.
There is still time to take the census. Fill out the questionnaire online, return the paper form you received in your mailbox or call 844.330.2020 (English) or 844.469.2020 (Spanish) anytime between 4 a.m. and 11 p.m. Many other language translation services are available online.
For every person missed our community stands to lose over $30,000. We cannot afford that!
