Become a Spokane Police Officer

The Spokane Police Department is accepting applications for those interested in becoming a police officer.

All candidates must take and pass the Public Safety Test (PST) in order to be considered, except laterals. There are two upcoming opportunities to take the test at no charge; Saturday, Nov. 14, 9:30 a.m. at the Spokane County Sheriff’s Training Center and Sunday, Nov. 15, 9:30 a.m. at the Spokane Police Training Center.

If you are interested, sign up for the Public Safety Test online, your results will be valid for a year. Please keep in mind, candidates must successfully complete the Physical Ability Test within 90 days of their written exam. Same day Physical Ability Testing is available both testing days.

PST testing is free if you send your results to the City of Spokane ONLY. Charges apply for additional agencies.
