One woman’s generosity is bankrolling a win-win for Spokane residents in need.
“Sydney, being a home town girl, it’s really nice that she’s made this contribution to our restaurant,” said Christy Belisle of Frank’s Diner.
Sydney is Sydney Sweeny. The Spokane, born and raised, actress who’s paying 12 local restaurants, including Frank’s, to make a thousand dollars worth of food to go, and deliver the meals to local shelters.
“I hope I am able to provide a little holiday relief for both the restaurants, that are really struggling right now, and the homeless, who will be facing a really tough winter. And, even if it’s just a little, I hope others can find their way to give back too,” explained Sweeny.
‘It’s a great opportunity for us to be given this generous donation by Sydney and for us to turn around and help others in our community, so we’re happy to do it,” added Belisle.
