Spokane residents are getting a little help and inspiration from Spokane’s most recognizable and fun-loving team! The City of Spokane recruited Spokane Indians Baseball team mascots to remind the community what to do to prepare for winter.

Otto is getting shovels, ice melt, and the snowblower ready. Doris is checking on neighbors and scouting which snow route she lives in. Ribby is bookmarking the snow removal page and clearing storm drains. KC is monitoring the street to remind folks to park on the odd side of the street and put RVs in winter storage to leave room for plows and emergency vehicles. Even Spokane Chiefs Hockey’s Boomer makes a cameo appearance when Otto needs some help with snow removal!

We hope you enjoy the fun we are having with our friends at Spokane Indians Baseball and see the value in getting ready for winter in Spokane.

Snow season is here! For more information on snow removal, bookmark the City’s snow removal page today!
