Ready for a career in Law Enforcement? Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission’s (WSCJTC) Basic Law Enforcement Academy (BLEA) class #882 just graduated. Joining law enforcement officers from around the state for 5 months of learning and training. Spokane Police had 7 officers graduate in this class. Hear from one recent SPD BLEA graduate about her Academy experience and challenges. Their motto was, “For those I love, I will sacrifice.”
The graduate officers will now undergo additional SPD specific policy and procedure training, then field training where seasoned officers teach and evaluate them. Our newest graduates are excited to serve the citizens of Spokane!
