October’s video features the Rockwood Neighborhood. Some of the earliest and most notable homes were built along the bluff above Rockwood Boulevard, which offered views of the city and surrounding areas including homes in the Tudor Revival, American Craftsman, American Foursquare and Colonial Revival styles.

The second annual Spokane Neighborhood Summit will be on Saturday, Nov. 2! The Summit is a FREE half-day conference for Spokane neighborhood council members or aspiring members to learn what other councils are doing around leadership and neighborhood practices. Learn more and register!
Safety matters to everyone. We all want neighborhoods where we can safely live, work, play and plan for the future. Our Spokane Police Department, Spokane Fire Department, the Office of the Police Ombuds and Spokane Municipal Court all do incredible work to keep us all safe in a variety of ways. And they have continued to do this in light of a significant budget crisis. As the City moves forward, we know we cannot fix our problems solely by making cuts. That is why Mayor Brown is proposing a one-tenth of one percent Community Safety Sales Tax. Learn more.
