Hello, this is Amber from the Office of Neighborhood Services, here with the Neighborhood News You Can Use!

The District 2 Neighborhood City Council Town Hall is scheduled for Monday, June 9 at 6 p.m. at the MLK Community Center. This event is open to everyone, but specifically geared toward District 2 residents.

With the warm weather arriving, Farmers Markets return to our community. There are many markets happening throughout the week all around the city, giving you many ways to support local farmers, creatives and makers. Be sure to check out the recently opened Scale House Market – Spokane County’s newest year-round market.

June is Pride Month, and Spokane Pride will return to Riverfront Park on Saturday, June 14, featuring a parade, festival and all ages dance party in celebration of the joy and resiliency of the LGBTQIA2S+ community.

Summer Parkways will take place on the south hill this month, on Tuesday, June 17. Cyclists will take to the streets for an evening bike ride that spans the Comstock and Manito Cannon Hill’s parks and neighborhoods. Don’t miss this free family friendly event!

Hoopfest, the largest 3-on-3 basketball tournament in the world brings the community and visitors to the streets of Spokane to enjoy the summer weather and celebrate the sport of basketball.

Enjoy summer weather by attending one of the many concerts at the Spokane Pavilion in Riverfront Neighborhood. Check out the lineup and purchase your tickets today!
