Have you heard? City Council has voted to change the historic Monday Legislative Session to Wednesday! In an effort to be more flexible, transparent, and accessible to the community, the Council has also revised its Agenda Review Meeting and Council Committee Meetings. Adjusting to this change will take some time. Here are the details you will need to know.

Why The Change

  1. Avoiding Monday Holidays: Many public holidays fall on Mondays, disrupting our schedule. A new meeting day could provide more consistency.
  2. Flexibility Midweek: Holding meetings midweek may make it easier for council members and staff to coordinate their schedules.
  3. Better Participation Opportunities: Considering alternative days could create more opportunities for parents, caregivers, and busy residents to participate.

What Changed?

Agenda Review Meetings – Tuesdays at 11 a.m.
Council Committee Meetings – Tuesdays at 1 p.m.
Council Legislative Session – Wednesdays at 6 p.m.
