The City of Spokane will be piloting a new parking kiosk, the mkORA, along West Main Avenue. These kiosks look very similar to the single and dual space meters the City already has on-street, but will have bright LED lights which indicate the time limit for the zone and make them easier to see at night. The mkORAs, like the prior kiosks, will also require your license plate number.
The pilot will run from August 2026 to February 2027, and covers two zones and 36 parking spaces.
Pilots are valuable because they allow the City to test an idea or product at a small scale to determine does it function or work as intended. We want a kiosk that is EASY, ACCESSIBLE, and CONVENIENT for customers!
Important Information:
Please report any paid parking device issue to Spokane 311 by calling 311, or 509.755.2489 (CITY) if outside city limits.
