Project Description

This project is a grind and overlay of Washington Street from 8th to 3rd Avenues, replacement of curb ramps for ADA compliance where needed, stormwater upgrades, and replacement of a water distribution main.

Key Objectives
  • Roadway Improvements: Grind the street 2-inches and overlay with new asphalt.
  • ADA Curb Ramps: Replace wheelchair ramps as needed.
  • Stormwater Improvements: Upgrade or modify stormwater, where needed.
  • Water Main Replacement: Replace current 6-inch water distribution main with 8-inch main from 8th to 6th Avenues.
  • Minor Traffic Signal Modifications: Adjust traffic signals as needed for ADA ramps and lane configurations.

The project and limits will exclude the intersections of Stevens, Browne, and Division streets.
