Project Description

The project will enhance pedestrian access and safety with a new signal at Wellesley Avenue and Assembly Street, new RRFB and crosswalks, and widen the bicycle lane on Assembly, a new crosswalk on Wellesley Avenue in front of the school.

Key Objectives

  • Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety: Widen bicycle lane, install crosswalks.
  • STA Improvements: Relocate existing bus stop off the VA property onto Wellesley Avenue.
  • Traffic Signals: RRFBs on Assembly Street and signal at Wellesley Avenue and Assembly Street.

Construction Estimate: $3.7 million
