The proposal is located at 2600 E. Illinois Ave., Parcel 35091.2706, NE ¼, SEC. 09, T. 25 N., R. 43 E., W.M.M.
The 2600 E. Illinois Conditional Use Permit proposes to develop approximately 2.75 acres of land into two residential care facilities: one 16-bed Enhanced Service Facility (ESF) as defined in RCW 70.97 and WAC 388-107, and one 16-bed Intensive Behavioral Health Treatment facility. The project will access the public street system via North Crescent Avenue, which is an unimproved right-of-way along the project frontage. This proposal is a Type 3 (Group Living use category) Conditional Use Permit.
Following the agency review period for this “Type 3 Conditional Use Permit,” a notice of application will go out to the Public and surrounding property owners. After the notice of application period, a Hearing will be held in front of the Hearing Examiner, who will issue a decision.
The conditional use permit and application materials have been routed for agency and department review. Comments from agencies are due by July 25, 2024 by 5:00 p.m. A Notice of Application for public comments will occur after the agency review comment period has ended.
