The applicant is proposing to construct a 4-story multi-family residential building with 162 units including studio and 2-bedroom unit types with associated parking and a 1-story amenity building. In a second phase, the applicant is proposing to construct an additional 4-story multi-family residential building with approximately 110 units. A portion of this proposal is within the 200-foot shoreline designation.
The Hearing Examiner issued an approved with conditions decision on November 29, 2022. Decisions by the Hearing Examiner regarding SCUPs are reviewed by the Washington State Department of Ecology. After review, they may be appealed to the Washington State Shoreline Hearings Board. All appeals must be filed with the Shoreline Hearings Board within twenty-one (21) calendar days of the date of the Ecology decision. Please see the attached decision for more information.
