The proposal is located at 10921 W. McFarlane Rd., Parcel 15365.1101, SEC. 36, T. 25 N., R. 41 E., W.M.
The owner is proposing to divide parcel 15365.1101 addressed as 10921 W. McFarlane Rd. into 20 lots for the purpose of creating developable and sellable lots. Access and utilities will be provided in tracts which will be owned and maintained by the Spokane Airport. This project will be processed as a Type II application and is categorically exempt from SEPA. The BSP will include dedication language for the Airport and FAFB overlay zones and any other easements and notification for those entities, as required by applicable codes and regulations.
There are no known or proposed projects on the proposed lots at this time, with the exception of the current “McFarlane 3” building permit in review for the area immediately to the west and north of parcel 15361.1102, permit #B2310008, for warehousing and truck parking. The building permit required SEPA which is in a comment period.
Following the agency review period for this “Preliminary Binding Site Plan,” a notice of application will go out to the Public and surrounding property owners. After the notice of application period, a decision will be issued.
The preliminary plat map and application materials have been routed for agency and department review. Comments from agencies are due by March 16, 2023 by 5:00PM. A Notice of Application for public comments will occur after the agency review comment period has ended.
