Project Description

The project will enhance pedestrian access and safety with crossing treatments on Grand Boulevard from 28th to 37th Avenues and 29th Avenue at Arthur Street.

Key Objectives

  • Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety: Reducing travel lanes to accommodate bike lanes and curb bumpouts, ADA ramps, and STA bus stops at 32nd Avenue (funded by STA).
  • Landscaping Improvements: Existing islands will receive landscaping improvements.
  • Traffic Signals: RRFPs on Grand Boulevard at 32nd, 33rd, and 37th Avenues and Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon on Arthur at 29th Avenue.

Construction Estimate: $1.8 million
