Booking Your Event in Riverfront Park

Riverfront Park is the region's premiere outdoor location to host a broad diversity of events from private family gatherings to massive community events for thousands and everything in-between. We are Spokane's largest centrally located outdoor setting and offer a variety of venue and activity options including convenient parking. Your activity does not have to be a Hoopfest or Pig Out size event for Riverfront Park to be your location of choice for a successful event. Community gatherings, class reunions, weddings, corporate picnics or church activities with discount attraction options, fun-runs, car shows, closed access concerts, facility and attraction rentals are available. Our professional event team will work with you in the successful planning and implementation of your event, rental or activity and as well provide valuable insight with regard to the logistics of events at Riverfront Park.

Private Events

Private events under 200 guests at Riverfront Park are coordinated through our events team. This can include reserving a wedding location, family reunion or company picnic.

Public Events

Riverfront Park is a one-of-a-kind venue for your large-scale event. From community engagement activities, festivals and fun runs to promotional events and public markets, there’s a perfect spot for you at the park. When you are ready to proceed and have reviewed the Event Planning Guide (PDF 843 KB), you will be required to complete Special Event Permit Application and submit it to the City of Spokane with a $50 processing fee. Applications received less than 30 days prior to your event may be denied or subject to additional fees. It may take up to 20 days after the receipt of your application to determine if your event will be approved. Your completed application will be distributed to all City departments affected by your event. You will be contacted individually by these departments only if they have specific questions or concerns about your event. It will be your responsibility to fulfill the requirements as outlined and to contact federal, state, or county agencies if necessary. Your Riverfront Park Event Manager will assist you through the process and make your event a success.
