Riverfront Spokane Sponsorships and Partnerships

Overview

As the redevelopment of Riverfront progresses and our downtown urban park is reinvigorated, we have developed sponsorship and giving opportunities for those interested in collaborating with and supporting the park's legacy and programming mission.

Our partners understand that business and community are not mutually exclusive. Funds are used to support programs and events that provide an elevated guest experience, offer added-value to our visitors and provide the community free informational, educational, entertaining, or cultural experience.

Partnerships are highly customizable, align with the parks mission and fit our partner’s strategic business goals. Your investment would help us better serve our growing community with activities, programs and venues that promote healthy lifestyles.

A sample of our current partnership opportunities include the following:

  • 4th of July Fireworks
  • Story Time at the Carrousel
  • Winter Market at the Pavilion
  • Movies in the Park (Pavilion)
  • Holiday Programming: Spokane’s Tree Lighting Celebration, Holiday Trail of Lights
  • U.S. Pavilion Naming Rights
  • Pavilion Summer Concert Series (presenting sponsorship)
  • Riverfront Moves (free fitness series)
  • Riverfront Eats (summer food truck rally)
  • Riverfront Explore (school-age educational field trips)
  • Exclusive category partnerships (e.g., auto, cable, wireless, healthcare)

Philanthropic Opportunities

The Spokane Parks Foundation, an independent non-profit 501(c)(3), is working with Riverfront to foster philanthropic naming and giving opportunities for donors wanting to support additional amenities in the park beyond those funded with bond dollars. Donations are being actively sought for numerous impactful projects including an additional playground on Havermale Island (separate from the bond playground on the North Bank), a dog park, tour train, Expo '74 butterfly, art, and interpretive signage. Donations may be eligible for recognition through an engraved brick in the promenade or similar opportunities developed with the renovation of the park.
