Description

Join Chet Caskey, other local story tellers, and even a professional ghost hunter, as they disclose the creepy and unsettling history of the Lilac City. Our featured story tellers will narrate Spokane-themed ghost stories from 7:00 - 8:30 pm, every Friday in October, inside the Pavilion building. Each evening's performance will conclude with a special Pavilion light display.

Spokane's "Gothic Historian" Chet Caskey has investigated, written about, and introduced countless Spokanites over the years to the City's rich – and ghostly – folk lore traditions. He is a popular instructor in Spokane and Washington History for Spokane Community College's Act 2 Program and hosts a weekly program on KYRS Community Clean Air Radio 92.3 & 88.1 FM entitled "Spokane Bedtime Stories". Chet's books include Haunted Spokane, Spooky Spokane, Guide to Spokane's Historic Cemeteries, and Haunted Hillyard.
