Riverfront Park has undergone a complete redevelopment and revitalization. As part of our efforts to support the park's legacy and programming mission, we have developed partnership and giving opportunities for those who are interested in collaborating with and supporting us.
Our partners understand the importance of both business and community. The funds received from our partners are used to support programs and events that enhance the guest experience, provide value to our visitors, and offer the community free informational, educational, entertaining, or cultural experiences.
We offer highly customizable partnership opportunities that align with the park's mission and our partner's strategic business goals. Your investment would help us better serve our growing community with activities, programs, and venues that promote healthy lifestyles.
The Spokane Parks Foundation, an independent non-profit 501(c)(3), is working with Riverfront to foster philanthropic naming and giving opportunities for donors wanting to support additional amenities in the park beyond those funded with bond dollars. Donations are being actively sought for numerous impactful projects including an additional playground on Havermale Island (separate from the bond playground on the North Bank), a dog park, tour train, Expo '74 butterfly, art, and interpretive signage. Donations may be eligible for recognition through an engraved brick in the promenade or similar opportunities developed with the renovation of the park.
Help Restore the Looff Carrousel Band Organ! Your support can bring back the enchanting sound of the 1909 Looff Carrousel Band Organ. By converting it to Midi-files, we’ll revive the sweet voice of the #36 Ruth and Sons band organ, completing its restoration. Imagine generations once again enjoying lilting tunes, toe-tapping polkas, and powerful Sousa marches, all with the sound of a 60-piece band! Join us in celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Looff Carrousel in Riverfront Park by donating today. More info.
Help support the future Lion’s Club Outdoor Classroom in Riverfront Park! This unique amenity will be available free of charge for education centered organizations, programs, and field trips. The dedicated space will repurpose a historic Expo ’74 shelter along the Spokane River to support groups of students of various ages in both a covered and uncovered setting. More info.
With each $125 donation, your personal message will be etched on a unique stainless steel charm that will be on display along the Blue Bridge at Riverfront Park until a final location is determined. Your gift ensures that investments we made into Riverfront Park today will benefit the community for years to come by funding new projects and programs for visitors and families. More info.
No place tells the story of Spokane like Riverfront Park. You might say, Spokane started here. In 1974, it was transformed into our beloved urban park, and now the recent renovation has transformed it all over again. Whether you’re adopting a carrousel animal, sponsoring a park bench or purchasing a paver, your gift will support projects to keep Riverfront beautiful and vibrant for years to come. More info.
