Historic Preservation

  • The Historic Preservation Office approved more Special Valuation Tax Incentive projects than any other city/county in Washington in 2022. These 13 projects represent $6.5 million invested in historic properties.
  • A multi-year effort to create a nearly 500 property historic district in the lower South Hill neighborhood is nearing completion.
