  • On Dec. 12, 2022, Spokane City Council approved $4 million in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to aid in paying down outstanding utility bills.
  • The Hatch Road Bridge deck was replaced for durability and safety to accommodate the weight and volume of traffic.
  • As part of our Integrated Clean Water Plan, we reached an important milestone in 2022 having all Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) tanks online for an entire year.
  • Street Department crews were supported by Water and Wastewater truck drivers and completed three full-City plows between Nov. 1 and Dec. 20, maintaining more than 10,000 lane miles.
  • Street conditions were improved throughout the City.
  • Crossings and sidewalk areas were upgraded throughout the City.
