Film Permits

Thank you for choosing to film in Spokane, the city that is "near nature, near perfect." You will find the Planning & Development Film Office to be a fast and friendly "one stop shop" for meeting your filming needs within the City of Spokane.

As soon as you determine you will be working in Spokane, please call the Film Office to begin the process. The more lead time we get, the better we can serve your needs. Don't know if you need a film permit? The easy rule of thumb is this: as long as you're working in a public space, you probably need to either file a master film permit application or filming notification with this office.

Check out the City's Film Manual for more detailed information on the various permitting and communication requirements.
