Plan Printing Standards

Approved plans must be printed and kept on the job site for the duration of construction work.

Approved plans may be accessed as follows:

1. Log into your ACA account.
2. Click on My Records on the Home tab
3. Select your approved permit record from the list of permits.
   1. The permit should have a status of issued.
4. Click on the Record Info drop down and Attachments.
5. Click on  Attachments.
6. Click on the “Approved” Plans document name to download the approved plan set.
7. Review all attachment documents, there may be more than one page, and download each “Approved” document.
8. Print the approved documents to have on site based on the project printing requirements shown below.

Residential Projects

Approved Plan Set: Minimum 18" x 24"
Approved Site Plan: 8.5" x 11" – 11" x 17"
Approved WSEC: 8.5" x 11"
Approved Footing Calcs: 8.5" x 11"
Approved Supporting Documents: 8.5" x 11"

Commercial Projects

Approved Plan Set: Minimum 24" x 36" - Max 30" x 42"
Approved Site Plan: Minimum 24" x 36" - Max 30" x 42"
Approved Supporting Documents: 8.5" x 11"

Other Project Types

Approved Plan Set: Minimum 18" x 24"
Approved Site Plan: 8.5" x 11" – 11" x 17"
Approved Supporting Documents: 8.5" x 11"
