Rescue Task Force training at NorthTown

The joint Spokane Fire/Police Department Rescue Task Force is conducting training this week in the basement of the NorthTown Mall.

The team will be trained to work in a tactical environment, including response to active shooter and post-explosive incidents that would involve a combined response from both agencies. Training will continue through Thursday.

NorthTown Mall Management and Security has been very proactive in offering cooperation and the use of their facility to the Task Force. Community Partners such as this add valuable experience and knowledge in regards to responding to these kinds challenging events.
