This morning just before 8:30 a.m., the Spokane Fire Department was dispatched to the 1300 block of E. Wellesley Ave. on a report of a house fire.

Upon arrival, firefighters discovered heavy smoke and flames coming from the first floor at the front of the home. Within five minutes of arrival and after a thorough search, crews determined the residence was clear of any occupants.
