Spokane Regional Health District

A food establishment permit is required for food service uses.

Washington Liquor and Cannabis Board

A liquor license is required for serving alcohol. Off-site consumption is limited by Spokane Municipal Code.
Serving alcohol requires a liquor license from the Liquor and Cannabis Board. Both the location and the applicant must meet the criteria for obtaining a liquor license. More information available on the WA State Liquor and Cannabis Board website.

Department of Revenue/Secretary of State

A Department of Revenue business license with a Spokane endorsement is required for all businesses.

A separate license may be required through the Secretary of State depending on the type of organization.

The City of Spokane partners with the Washington State Department of Revenue Business Licensing Service. Licenses are obtained through the Department of Revenue; a Spokane endorsement can be added through this license. More information available on the WA State Department of Revenue website.
