Bridge Avenue from Monroe to Post streets will close temporarily on Wednesday beginning at 8 a.m. to begin work on a new portion of the Centennial Trail that will pass through Veterans Park.
The addition is part of work needed to complete the trail and create a clearly defined, accessible trail segment in Veterans Park. This is one of several pieces of the Centennial Trail being completed this year.
Traffic will be rerouted to Broadway Avenue during the closure, which is expected to last approximately three weeks. All businesses in the area remain open and accessible during construction. The parking lot immediately north of Bridge should be accessed via Lincoln Street during the closure.
The work is being done in partnership with Greenstone Corporation and Kendall Yards
