The Spokane City Council briefing session and legislative meeting have been cancelled for Monday, Feb. 17. The Council will meet next on Monday, Feb. 24, at 3:30 and 6 p.m. in the City Council Chambers in the lower level of City Hall, 808 W. Spokane Falls Blvd. Meetings also are shown live on CityCable 5, the City's government-access cable station, and online on the CityCable 5 page.
Some attractions in Riverfront Park are open for President's Day. The Ice Palace and Enchanted Forest mini-golf are open on Monday, Feb. 17. Check the Riverfront Park page for hours of operation. The Carousel is closed for annual maintenance until February 27, and the Imax Theater is closed until March 1.
Spokane Public Library branches will operate on a normal schedule on Presidents' Day.
Meanwhile, the City's Municipal Court employees will be working and are available by phone on Monday, Feb. 17, but since the County Courthouse Building will be closed on that day, the court isn't available for walk-in customers.
