11 a.m. - Spokane Police arrest four Burglary suspects after they were located repelling through the roof access area of K-Mart on E. Sprague.

3:30 p.m. - Spokane Police arrest Repeat Offender and 16-time convicted felon, 29 year-old Alexander Stormy, after he attempts to flee from police.

7:47 a.m. - The Spokane Fire Department responded to a structure fire on January 27, 2014 to Center Court Apartments at 924 E Cozza Drive at approximately 10 p.m.

7:13 a.m. - On January 27,2014 the Spokane Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at 8821 North Hill N Dale at approximately 5:30 p.m.

Suspect hits officer with vehicle while fleeing traffic stop

5 p.m. - 27 year-old Laci Anthony was arrested after hitting officer with vehicle while attempting to flee traffic stop.

Structure fire displaces seven

10:29 p.m. - A structure fire at 1604 W. Shannon Ave. has displaced seven individuals.

Update: SPD and ATF investigate explosion in north Spokane

9 a.m. - Initial investigation indicates the device that exploded last night was a pyrotechnic-type device, commonly referred to as an M-1000, not a bomb.

Fatality resulting from January 19th, 2014 fire

9:33 a.m. - Gregory Paul Case, age 61, has died as a result of injuries he received from the structure fire on January 19, 2014.

SPD/SCSO collaboration leads to arrest of robbery suspects

10 a.m. - Collaboration between the SPD and the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office led to the arrest of two suspects in connection to recent pharmacy robberies.
