The next edition of “Council Connection,” the cable television program featuring Spokane City Council members as hosts, will be shown live, Thursday, April 3, at 6 p.m. on CityCable 5. Council Member Amber Waldref, District 1, will host the program titled “Increasing Logan Neighborhood Vitality.”

The show will feature guests including: Logan Neighborhood Leader Karen Byrd and Chris Nichols, owner of Chairs Public House.

“The historic Logan neighborhood has many assets, including a mixture of single-family and multi-family living, beautiful parks and trails, and easy access to local businesses along the Hamilton Street Corridor,” Waldref explains. “This Corridor is a key area for development in the City and the neighborhood is fighting to have this development support a healthy business environment, safety for pedestrians, and increase livability for students, seniors and families.”

Council Member Waldref will accept calls from viewers during the program; the phone number to reach the show is 509.625.6337.

“Council Connection” is shown live on the first Wednesday of the month and is replayed throughout the month. CityCable 5 is the City of Spokane's government-access cable station; it's found on Channel 5 on the Comcast cable system in Spokane.
