The City of Spokane and its community partners launched the ‘12 Days of Giving Spokane’ campaign Tuesday. The City and its nonprofit service and corporate partners challenge businesses, organizations and individuals to give time, talent or treasures this holiday season.

The campaign is an effort to capture the momentum of the national ‘Giving Tuesday’ movement to make a local impact. Each day highlights a different area of need in the community along with various organizations citizens can connect with to get involved. Categories include giving assistance, food, mentorship, shelter, health, and more.

The 12 Days of Giving Spokane campaign is an extension of the Compassionate Spokane initiative launched successfully last spring with Spokane Gives. For updates during the campaign, follow @spokanecity and the hashtag #GivingSpokane on Twitter and Facebook.
