The City of Spokane is seeking applications from individuals interested in serving on the Northeast Public Development Authority (NEPDA) Board. The NEPDA is entering its third year of work and is expanding the number of board members from five to seven.
The NEPDA’s area of focus, known as “The YARD”, is the 800 acres of underutilized industrial and residential property east of Market Street and north of Garland Avenue.
“We have a tremendous opportunity for growth in Northeast Spokane, and this public-private development corporation will provide leadership and project management to take advantage of that opportunity,” said Mayor David Condon. “We are seeking people with business expertise and a desire to help with this important work to apply to serve on the volunteer Northeast Public Development Authority Board.”
In addition to completing the City’s boards and commissions application, applicants must also include a cover letter. For more information on the board openings and how to apply, visit SpokaneCity.org’s Boards & Commissions page.
