Spokane City Councilman Mike Fagan will be helping children build their dreams on Saturday, May 9. The third annual “Building Dreams – Bright Futures for Our Kids” event begins at 6 p.m. at the Spokane Convention Center.

Created in response to funding cuts for at-risk youth programs in Spokane, the event festivities include a live & silent auction and raises much-needed funds for programs at the West Central, Northeast Youth and Southwest Spokane Community and Youth Centers. Numerous sponsors have joined in support.

Fagan is Co-Chair of the event, a unique and exciting fundraising extravaganza created for the sustainability of Spokane’s Youth and Community Centers. Fagan, along with business leaders, Center executives, and other elected officials have come together to make this exciting and innovative event a success.

This year’s fundraiser, co-hosted by Spokane Police Officer Gordon Grant and Jeff Phillips, CEO of Rosauers, the event will also honor Scott Morris, CEO of Avista for his contributions to youth in our community.
