In preparation for the end of the school year, 20 mph speed limit signs have been posted at some City parks Tuesday. Drivers should slow down around parks, parks with splash pads, parks with pools, and libraries as speed limits are reduced for the summer.

The signs were installed at the following parks:

  • A.M. Cannon
  • Chief Gary
  • Lincoln
  • Mission
  • Shadle Park

The reduced speed limit takes effect immediately where signs have been posted.

Signs will be installed at the remaining playgrounds – Audubon, Comstock, and Hayes – after the last day of school next Thursday, June 18.
