Because of scheduled maintenance on the City of Spokane’s utility billing system database, the City’s on-line e-bill and phone pay services will be unavailable from Friday, Aug. 7, at 6 p.m. through Sunday, Aug. 9, at 3 p.m.

Customers who pay their City of Spokane utility bill via the City’s web site at www.spokanecity.org or by using our toll-free phone service at 877.578.2200 won’t be able to use those services during that time. Alternate methods of payment are available over the weekend, including the following:

  • Drop Boxes – Utility bill drop boxes are available at the northeast side of City Hall on Post Street just north of Spokane Falls Boulevard, on Lincoln Street downtown on the east side of the Downtown Library, at Hart & Dilatush Pharmacy at 501 W. Sprague Ave., at Avista Utilities at 1411 E. Mission Ave., and at Yoke’s Foods at 3321 W. Indian Trail Road.
  • Pay Stations – Payments also can be processed at pay stations inside Yokes Foods at 210 E. North Foothills Dr. and at 3321 W. Indian Trail Road. Payments must be current; customers will need their original utility bill.

This weekend’s database maintenance will also prevent customers from accessing account information, including current balance and water consumption information, when calling the Utility Billing line at 509.625.6000. The City regrets any inconvenience this interruption in services may cause. Please contact the Utility Billing office at 509.625.6000 to speak with a Customer Service Representative between 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday with any questions or concerns.
