City Accepting Donations for Wildfire Victims, Firefighters

The City of Spokane is asking citizens to join in a donation drive to benefit the victims and firefighters who have been affected by Washington state’s devastating wildfires. The drive is open to everyone, and the items collected will be sent to benefit local regions in need.

We are asking for the following items:

  • Trail Mix
  • Jerky
  • Dried and Canned Goods
  • Gum
  • Hard candies
  • Air Masks
  • Shovels and Rakes
  • Work Gloves
  • Baby Wipes
  • Shampoo and Conditioner
  • Toothbrushes and Toothpaste
  • Soap (unscented)
  • Hand Sanitizer
  • Feminine Hygiene Products

Donations can be dropped off in the City Hall lobby during business hours through Sept. 9. Please be aware that we cannot accept cash donations.
