Extended Hours all week at Downtown, East Side and Shadle Libraries

Downtown, Shadle and East Side branches are going to be open extra hours tonight, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

“Libraries matter more than ever, and we are grateful that we can be such a vital resource for the community in this time of need,” says Library Director Andrew Chanse. “We encourage the public to come down to any of our open libraries, charge your devices, use our computers, talk to a staff member. We are here to help.”

Indian Trail will close as expected at 6 p.m. At this time Indian Trail has power but no internet access. The South Hill branch and the Hillyard branch continue to be closed and have no power.
