Spokane Mayor David Condon will host the next installment in the City’s ongoing series of community conversations on Thursday, Feb. 18 from 6-7 p.m. Citizens are invited to join the discussion and offer feedback on how the City is servicing the Spokane community’s priorities.
Residents will be contacted using technology that allows the City to call thousands of people to ask if they want to participate in the meeting. Citizens can also opt into the meeting by calling 855.312.2107 between 6 and 6:45 p.m.
“As with our most recent accomplishments, collaboration, communication and community will get us to a safer, smarter, and stronger Spokane,” said Mayor Condon. “The Telephone Town Hall is a way to make it easier for people to join the conversation and this important community collaboration when and where it’s most convenient to them.”
Citizens who prefer to participate in person can come to the City Council Chambers at City Hall on June 9 to join the discussion live. People can also participate in the community conversation on social media @spokanecity on Twitter and Facebook. The entire evening will be broadcast live on CityCable 5 and streamed on SpokaneCity.org
For the past four years, the Telephone Town Hall has been one of the ways citizens have been able to stay informed about City performance and offer input. During the Telephone Town Halls, the City regularly engages tens of thousands of people on the phone and via social media.
